CentreCanada at the New to New West 2025 Intercultural Festival

On May 31, 2025, CentreCanada Newcomer Services Society had the pleasure of participating in the New to New West 2025 Intercultural Festival and Information Fair, held at New Westminster Secondary School.

This vibrant event brought together community organizations, service providers, and local residents for an afternoon of connection, information, and celebration. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet newcomers, share information about our programs, and support individuals and families as they begin their journey in Canada.

We were honoured to welcome special guests to our desk, including:

• MLA Jennifer Whiteside
• MLA Raj Chouhan
• Mayor Patrick Johnstone of New Westminster

We thank them for taking the time to visit and show their support for newcomer communities.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. We are grateful to the City of New Westminster and WINS Local Immigration Partnership for organizing such a meaningful event.
