CentreCanada at the Anatolian Heritage Federation Member Roundtable
CentreCanada participated in the recent Anatolian Heritage Federation Member Roundtable, a national gathering designed to bring nonprofit organizations together to exchange experiences, share successful approaches, and learn from one another. Representatives from Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, and Kitchener contributed to a rich day of dialogue and connection.

CentreCanada’s Contribution: Sharing What Works
With more than forty attendees from sister organizations, the roundtable provided an inspiring environment to reflect on ongoing initiatives and discover new ways to strengthen service to our communities.
CentreCanada shared practical insights and examples from our key program areas:
- Civic engagement supporting newcomer participation
- Education programs that broaden learning opportunities
- Young professional development helping emerging leaders grow
- Inclusive community programs designed for long-term benefit
Our team outlined how these efforts help individuals and families thrive, and how an open, collaborative approach contributes to stronger outcomes across regions.
Key Themes and Learnings
Throughout the discussions, participants explored:
- Common challenges and effective solutions used in different cities
- Opportunities to collaborate across sectors and regions
- Approaches that help organizations strengthen their programs
- Ways to stay aligned on shared goals and better serve diverse communities
The roundtable highlighted how open knowledge-sharing and ongoing communication help all organizations evolve and improve the services they offer.
About the AHF Member Roundtable
AHF hosts these meetings every three months, creating a consistent space for nonprofit leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and explore strategies that support their communities. The November session in Edmonton once again demonstrated the value of working together and learning from one another.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We thank AHF for hosting this meaningful gathering and extend our appreciation to all participating organizations for their thoughtful contributions. CentreCanada remains committed to collaborating with partners across Canada and to continuing the shared learning that strengthens all of our work.
We look forward to future meetings and to reinforcing the relationships that help build supportive, welcoming, and connected communities.
